Gauge 12
I was the creative director and designer for issue 12 of Gauge Magazine, a general interest and lifestyle magazine for young people in Boston. My responsibilities included both design and production– from initial sketches to signing the press proof. The theme of the magazine was "bare," which was represented visually by the paper choice (uncoated stock) and minimal typography in a strong grid system. Much of the photography was black and white. 800 copies were printed by Kirkwood Printing in Wilmington, MA in May 2008.
