Gauge 14
I was the creative director and designer for issue 14 of Gauge Magazine, a general interest and lifestyle magazine for young people in Boston. My responsibilities included both design and production– from initial sketches to signing the press proof. The theme of the magazine was "do it yourself," which was represented visually by the illustrations and choice of typeface (widely available system fonts). Furthermore, the photography section included cell phone photography from readers. The magazine also measured at A4, a standard size for European paper. 1000 copies were printed by Kirkwood Printing in Wilmington, MA in January 2009.
